Loutra divesite
Loutra divesite Description:
The dive site Loutra located in Kassandra Chalkidiki. Loutra‘s natural beauty boasts rocky shores and crystal clear turquoise waters; the ideal combination of adventure and relaxation.
From the bowels of the mountain emerge the medicinal thermal springs. For centuries, the unique composition of therapeutic properties of the springs has helped heal people’s bodily ailments.
The austere beauty of the landscape, the labyrinthine caves in the rocky mountains, the pine trees touching the sea, Loutra is a composition of unmatched harmony with nature.
Unknown to divers, the site is majestic, decorated by pinnacles with a view to Mount Olympus on the horizon. Bubbles emerge from the sea carpet, evidence of the existence of thermal springs. Although we don’t go deep, the profile being suitable for divers of all levels of experience, the bottom is fascinating: on the right side, you visit tunnels and caves, the top of which is open, and, on the left side, you dive a reef. Its rocky bottom is covered by plants and marine life in abundance: octopuses, sargus fish, red mullets, starfishes, nudibranchs, anemones…
